thanks man. really happy to hear you enjoy it. while most folks do their work and study the masters like eisner, kuper, ditko and such, i haven't.

i can tell you all about the two dozen or so comics that i followed and loved, but i am quite ignorant when it comes to comics when compared to my peers. therefore i draw upon what i know: movies.

martin scorcese's pacing and panning, david lynch's surreal hyperbolic imagery, and stanley kubrick's slow zooms are what i studied.
