this is another one for MiPOesias magazine. (www.mipoesias.com) i was told that the issue would center around erotic/sensual literature with the name of the issue being "The World's Oldest Profession". this was the 2nd concept i came up with. i hope they like it.
Obviously, not from the same picture, but at first glance, this made me think of a picture by J.W. Waterhouse. Very well done, as everything you do is very well done.
There is no way to measure an artist, or their work, because nothing matters, but their vision. Their acceptance by the rest of the world is merely external.
I'm guessing there is some major Darwinistic symbolism with the newly-legged fish, some kind of prehistoric metaphor at least! Goes with "world's oldest". Witty.
Oddly, I don't see her as sensuous or sexy - she looks somewhat pained or bored to me. It could be gender glasses, interpretation, whatever.
I like the fluid lines of the trees and how they mirror the body.
