this is a portrait of Didi Menedez. she is a cuban-born american. she is a painter and a writer. she is also editor of Chicago-based MiPoesias magazine (available on amazon or www.Mipoesias.com) as well as Ocho and several other publications.
She is currently starting a new magazine called Oranges and Sardines. This is for the first issue, coming out later this summer.
