inspiration for this was the concept of Morpheus (in greek mythology the god of dreams as well as what morphine gets it's name from)

You have such a strange style. And of course, that what I love about it. :+fav:

There is no way to measure an artist, or their work, because nothing matters, but their vision. Their acceptance by the rest of the world is merely external.

Fantastic! I love the shiny effect on the moon, and how well it looks with her skin.

Morpheus... Morphine... Sandman! Your style would be perfect to illustrate the Lord of Dreams!

I like the penetrating stare. She looks like she is looking for something. One of my favorite things about your work is the cold, calm, lonely, and storybook quality.

:) thank you for the thoughtful comment.
i really tried to make something that would be soothing to the observer with this one.
i'm happy you like it.

This is both soothing and a little unsettling. Lots of contrasts: the green and purple, the jungle leaves versus your trademark Lego blocks, bright moon against dark sky. I like the directional fluidity of your pencil strokes. Thoughtful piece, moody and evocative.
